Vaccine and Antibiotic Dispute Concocting a Cocktail of Intrigue

Vaccine and Antibiotic Dispute: Concocting a Cocktail of Intrigue

His career is exceptional. His bravery and consistent fight for truth is unwavering. His name is Dr. Shiv Chopra, a vaccine and medicine regulator for Health Canada, and for decades he has fought for the public’s protection from unsafe drugs, harmful vaccines and even carcinogenic containing antibiotics.

Dr. Chopra is never fearful of his own protection, even going public with the findings of his studies, initiating a legal battle that put him in the government’s hate list. His yet unpublished book documents the crimes the government willingly and knowingly commit against public safety, most particularly adhering to corporate interests and passing unsafe substances that held adverse effects for its users.

Vaccine Misuse

He expressed alarm particularly over startlingly enlarged vaccine lists that were being administered on young children. He said that the list involved vaccines intended for a number of viral and bacterial infections which had insignificant or no scientific basis.

An example of which were vaccines against Hepatitis B and the bird flu, called Tamiflu, both of which allegedly protect against a cervical cancer-triggering virus. To note, Tamiflu distribution has been brought to a close in Japan due to deaths that were supposedly linked with serious and sudden psychiatric illnesses brought about by Tamiflu drug use.

Furthermore, Dr. Chopra finds it absurd how the Hepatitis B vaccine still continues to be routinely administered on young children despite it being a disease for adults. This notwithstanding how no epidemiological evidence exists pertaining to such practice.

Despite this string of chaos and controversy over vaccine administration, the vaccine business does not show signs of commiserating over the harmful effects these may inflict on public health. The MMR vaccine for example, was the subject of public outrage when 4,900 families in the US filed lawsuits, complaining how their children became autistic within days of being administered with MMR vaccine.

Antibiotic resistance issue

Antibiotic resistance was another issue being addressed by Dr. Choprra and his team. The surge in this incidence was a phenomenon he attributed greatly to the prophylactic use of antibiotics on animals which are food producers coupled with the over prescribing mannerisms of doctors.

Doctors frequently overlook the importance of checking keenly whether an infection is bacterial or viral in nature and proceed without caution in prescribing the broad-spectrum antibiotics variety. The World Health Organization has placed emphasis on this practice, seeing how antibacterial resistance of one simple bacterial infection could end up in a development of resistance to all existing antibiotics.

The vaccine and antibiotic dispute makes us think twice and reexamine science objectively, lest we risk our health and that of our children’s. The fight for overall safety of public health is not over yet.
